Disability Access and Inclusion Plan

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) is committed to facilitating the inclusion of people with disability through the improvement of access to its information, services and facilities.

Disability Access and Inclusion Plans (DAIPs) are revised every 5 years, and a new plan is developed for the next 5 year period. Until now Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH), Child and Adolescent Community Health (CACH) and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) have had separate DAIPs.

The combined CAHS Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) for 2018 – 2022 has been released. You can access the document in alternative formats or ask for further information by contacting CAHS.DAIP@health.wa.gov.au or telephoning Child and Family Engagement Services on 9340 7198.

  4. People with disability receive the same level and quality of service from the staff of a public authority as other people receive from the staff of the public authority.
  5. People with disability have the same opportunities as other people to make complaints to a public authority.
