Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service

The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) provides mental health programs to infants, children and young people under the age of 18. Our services are based in the community and hospital settings.

We work with children and young people, their family or carers to improve the health of children and young people experiencing mental health issues.

Children and families are referred to these services by their treating therapist, specialist, GP, school or other community organisation. Information and advice about accessing a CAMHS program is available by contacting your local Community CAMHS clinic.
