Our hospitals

WA Health has 85 hospitals spread across an area of 2.5 million square kilometres, including 7 tertiary, 8 secondary and 70 country sites, providing world class health care to our population of 2.5 million.

In response to our growing and expanding communities, Western Australia is undergoing an unprecedented investment in hospital infrastructure, with $7 billion dollars in projects underway, recently completed or in planning, in more than 50 locations around the State.

Three of our hospitals are managed under private-public partnerships, delivering free public health care to the community.
