The Office of the Chief Dental Officer is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction and high level policy advice across six foundation areas of oral health in Western Australia, including:

- Accessible oral health services
- System alignment and integration
- Safety and quality
- Workforce
- Research and evaluation
The State Oral Health Plan provides a detailed snapshot of the state of oral health in Western Australia, and is an invaluable resource designed to guide policy makers, service providers, health workers and other stakeholders to work together to improve oral health outcomes in our communities.
