What attracted you to WA Health’s graduate program?

WA Health’s graduate program offered the opportunity to rotate through many different areas of Health, giving me a taste of a variety of different work areas. But most attractive was the opportunity to give back to the WA community through my work.

What areas did you work in while in the graduate program?

I worked in different areas within the Health Information Network (IT), which included software application testing and development, service delivery, and software licensing.

What is your current position?

Software licensing administration.

What does your current job involve?

Liaising with customers, vendors, and other departments within Health to purchase appropriate software to support Health services.

What has been your most memorable experience while working in WA Health?

Meeting my new work colleagues and having their support and rapport during the entire time I was working with them.

What advice do you wish someone had given you prior to starting your graduate year?

You’ll learn even more if you go outside your comfort zone.
