Improving health in WA

Aboriginal cultural learning sessions

Aboriginal Cultural Learning Sessions (CLS) are the fourth component of the WA Health Aboriginal Cultural Learning Package (ACLP) – a suite of online cultural learning tools, training and resources which have been developed for all WA Health staff.

Aboriginal Cultural Learning Sessions are optional face-to-face learning sessions that are organised by your Health Service to provide you with the opportunity to learn about Aboriginal culture relevant to your work area.

To find out if your Health Service provides Aboriginal Cultural Learning Sessions for staff, please contact your Health Service’s Aboriginal Health team.

For Department of Health Divisions, Royal Street staff, contact the Aboriginal Cultural Learning Support Team 9222 4466 or email AboriginalCulturalLearning.DOH@health.wa.gov.au

Note: Aboriginal Cultural Learning Sessions are NOT a substitute for the mandatory OD 0599/15 Aboriginal Cultural eLearning – A Healthier Future (external site)
