Don’t worry if you missed the ABC’s story on WA Health’s recently launched Undiagnosed Diseases Program (UDP), which screened on the magazine-style program Australia Wide at the weekend. You can still catch it on the ABC news website (external site) or on ABC iview (external site).

An abridged version of the report (external site) is also available.

The UDP, a first for Australia, is helping to find answers for people with mysterious and long-standing medical conditions and made a triumphant start when it provided a confirmed diagnosis for its first case, a seven-year-old girl.
