COVID-19 update – 11 January 2021

The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 877.

The cases are two males in their 40s and 50s who have both travelled from overseas and are in hotel quarantine.

WA Health is monitoring 17 active cases and 851 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

There have been 663,760 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 105,031 were from regional WA.

Yesterday 2,787 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 2,762 were assessed and 2,757 were swabbed.
