WA Health is reporting a total of 8,392 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 43,408 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 253 people with COVID-19 in hospital, nine in ICU.
Today’s report includes 10 deaths, zero in the reporting cycle to 8pm last night and 10 historical deaths, dating between 18-25 April.
The historical deaths include a man in his 90s, four men and 3 women in their 80’s, and a man and woman in their 70’s

Of the 8,392 cases, 2,687 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 5,705 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 15,105 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 363,601 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
