Applicable to: All accredited Primary Employing Health Services (PEHS)
Description: To ensure fair and timely processing of applications and appointments to intern positions the PMCWA coordinates the centralised intern application process in Western Australia (WA), in collaboration with the Primary Employing Health Services (PEHS) who are accredited to employ and train interns; and with other Australian Postgraduate Medical Councils. This policy is applicable to all Health Service Providers (HSPs) accredited as PEHS and relates to the recruitment of interns into accredited intern positions in W A through the annual centralised intern application process as coordinated by PMCWA.
