2019 Cervical Cancer Prevention Campaign

The WA Cervical Cancer Prevention Program (WACCPP) is implementing a campaign in November to coincide with National Cervical Cancer Awareness Week (11 – 17 November 2019).

The 2019 Cervical Cancer Prevention Campaign aims to increase women’s understanding of the importance of regular cervical screening and encourage women to book an appointment for a Cervical Screening Test if they are due or overdue.

Register an activity

All stakeholders are encouraged to register an activity to support the campaign in their local community. Examples of activities include creating a workplace information display, staff photo with the downloadable photo booth props, booking a presentation about cervical cancer prevention or hosting a morning tea. Service providers may also wish to offer free or bulk-billed appointments for cervical screening during the week of the Campaign or offer an after-hours clinic.

Campaign specific tools and resources

Organisations that register an activity in support of the Campaign can access a range of resources and incentive items from the WACCPP free of charge View a catalogue of campaign resources (PDF 229KB) to support your activity.
