  • Workforce distribution 2013
  • Trainees and new fellows
  • Consultant age distribution 2013

Notes

  • The SWCP summary sheets should be read in conjunction with the User information: Specialist Workforce Capacity Program summary sheets (PDF 239KB).
  • The information provided in the SWCP summary sheets represents a snapshot in time and does not take into account innovation, reform and/or changing models of care. Shortfalls presented are a guide only based on modelling conducted as part of the SWCP. Other approaches could yield different results. The general practice (GP) workforce, including the services provided by proceduralists and non-proceduralists in rural locations, was not captured in the SWCP 2013. A separate SWCP GP summary sheet was developed with information provided by Rural Health West (external site).
