These scholarships are for applicants who are studying to gain an initial qualification as an enrolled nurse, registered nurse or midwife.
Enrolled nurse
Applicants for this scholarship should be studying a Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing).
Scholarships are available to students who have successfully completed semester 1 of a Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) at a Western Australian Vocational Education and Training Institution.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander are eligible to apply for a scholarship to cover stage one of the Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing).
Applications for scholarships for Marr Mooditj students enrolled in the Diploma of Nursing are now open and close COB Friday 11 December 2020. The scholarship will cover units that commenced in 2020. A link to the application website is available below.


Enrolled nurse to registered nurse conversion course
Scholarships are available to qualified enrolled nurses undertaking a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree, or equivalent, to convert their qualification to registered nursing
Enrolled nurses converting to registered nursing can apply for a scholarship from commencement of their course.
Applicants must be employed as an enrolled nurse to be eligible for this scholarship. Preference will be given to those who are working full-time or part-time, on a permanent or fixed-term contract.
Registered nurse and midwife
These scholarships are for applicants who are studying to become a registered nurse or midwife.
Scholarships are available to students who have successfully completed semesters 1 and 2 of a Bachelor of Science (Nursing), Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) or dual degree.
Registered nurses studying midwifery can apply for a scholarship from the commencement of their course.
Registered nurse
For those who are studying to complete a:
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing)
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) Honours program
- Graduate Entry Masters in Nursing program.
Midwife
For those who are studying to complete a:
- Bachelor of Science (Midwifery)
- Bachelor of Science (Midwifery) Honours program
- Graduate Diploma of Midwifery or Master of Clinical Practice (Midwifery). These courses are for qualified registered nurses to gain an initial qualification as a midwife.
Registered nurse and midwife dual degree
For those who are studying to complete a Bachelor of Science (Nursing)/Bachelor of Science (Midwifery).
