COVID-19 update – 11 June 2020

The Department of Health has reported no new active cases of COVID-19 overnight.

Western Australia’s total of confirmed COVID-19 cases stands at 601.

There are currently 21 active cases in the State – seven are Western Australians, one is from interstate and 13 are crew members from the livestock carrier, the Al Kuwait.

To date, 571 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

Yesterday 998 people presented to COVID-19 clinics – 939 were assessed and 926 were swabbed.

In addition, 1,646 asymptomatic people were tested yesterday through the DETECT Snapshot program.

To date there have been 133,277 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 23,267 were from regional WA.
