COVID-19 update – 25 July 2020

The Department of Health has reported no new active cases of COVID-19 overnight, for the seventh day straight.

However, the State’s total now stands at 656 after two historical case was identified through serology testing.

The historic cases relate to two women, one aged in their 20’s and one aged in her 40’s.

Both are linked to overseas travel in March earlier this year, and one is a former passenger on the cruise ship Ruby Princess.

There are five active cases in WA and 642 people who have recovered from the virus in the State.

Yesterday 604 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 589 were assessed and 585 were swabbed.
