COVID-19 update – 26 July 2020

The Department of Health has reported two new active cases of COVID-19 overnight, bringing the State’s total to 658.

The two new cases are returned overseas travellers and are currently in hotel quarantine.

They are both women in their 20’s who returned positive results following WA Health screening conducted on day 12 after their arrival.

There are five active cases in WA. To date, there are 644 people who have recovered from the virus in the State.

Yesterday 422 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 413 were assessed and 412 were swabbed.
