WA Health is reporting a total of 2,405 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 12,224 active cases in Western Australia.
Latest figures from overnight show, there were 283 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 8 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes four deaths, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – dating back to 14 July – a man and a woman in their 80s, a man in his 70s and a woman in her 50s.

Of the 2,405 cases, 874 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 1,531 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 5,155 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,110,117 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
