Wilson Inlet given the all clear following wastewater overflow

WA Health advises that the Wilson Inlet in Denmark will be reopened for recreational activities.

A section of the inlet was closed almost two weeks ago following a wastewater overflow upstream of the Zimmermann Street Pump Station.

The most recent water testing shows microbiological levels in the affected area have returned to normal and, as a result, water-based recreational activities can resume.

Warning signs advising residents to avoid swimming and fishing in the area will now be removed by the Shire of Denmark.
