Men's Health and Wellbeing Policy

Anyone with an interest in men’s health and wellbeing is invited to have their say in shaping the draft Men’s Health and Wellbeing Policy (Word 1.4MB).

The policy has been developed by Health Networks as Western Australia’s response to the National Male Health Policy.

The purpose of the policy is to provide direction to WA Health and its partners to deliver strategies that improve the physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing of men and boys living in WA.

Community consultations are planned for June and July and opportunities to participate include:

  • community consultation forums across metropolitan and regional areas
  • an online survey (external link)closes Friday 3 August. Takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Simple questions and materials are also available to support organisations who wish to run their own mini forums with staff or consumers. To request materials email Deb Hamm.
