Geographic variation in primary healthcare service utilisation and potentially preventable hospitalisations in Western Australia

Potentially preventable hospitalisations (PPH) are currently a health system performance indicator of the accessibility and effectiveness of primary healthcare (PHC) in the National Healthcare Agreement as past research has suggested an inverse relationship between PPHs and access to PHC.
