Western Australian Burden of Disease Study 2015

The Western Australian Burden of Disease Study (WABODS) was conducted by the Epidemiology Branch, WA Department of Health in partnership with the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. The study provides an assessment of the impact of 216 diseases and 29 risk factors on the WA population and allows for disease comparisons due to loss of life and disability in a consistent manner. Findings from this study are useful for policy formulation, research, practice and health service planning.
