The immunisation updates have been developed by the Communicable Disease Control Directorate (CDCD), WA Health.

The online version creates a solution to the provision of immunisation updates, in an efficient and effective manner to immunisation service providers.

  • It will take approximately 4 hours to complete.
  • You will be able to print a certificate upon successful completion of all modules.
  • It is your responsibility to store this certificate safely as it is evidence of completing the update.
  • User access to the platform will be automatically removed at the end of the two-week period. There will not be a record of any assessments or certificates. All modules must be completed within the two-week period.

Using the immunisation updates

You will find a navigation button on the homepage after login that will assist you in navigating through the program.

On the top left hand side of the screen you will see the Menu which you can use to find content by search. Within the slides are interaction tabs which you can use by clicking on the PREV and NEXT buttons. Clicking on these will take you to the next content slide.

Finding the glossary

The tabs on the left hand side of the screen are; Glossary, Resources and References which will appear when relevant. Clicking on these will open a drop down over the existing screen you are viewing and you can simply close these to return to the main screen.

Do I have to complete the quizzes?

The assessment is compulsory in order to gain your certificate for the respective update, which can be printed at the successful completion of the program.

Print and saving an electronic version of the certificate

Once you have completed the module, you will be able to print your certificate to a printer or save as a PDF. You need to do this at time of assessment completion. Please note: You will not be able to re-access the certificate without completing the module again, therefore it is important to print or save PDF when on the certificate page. CDCD are not able to provide certificates to individuals who have already completed or left the module.

Viewing the videos

The videos will load and play automatically, but may take a minute or two to load depending on your bandwidth and server functionality. Each video has closed captioning that can be turned on and off using the Toggle button as desired.

Providing feedback on the education program

CDCD appreciates all feedback and will incorporate any suggestions for module improvement. You are required to complete an evaluation which you will be guided to on completion of the final assessment.
