The Department of Health has reported another day with no new COVID-19 cases in Western Australia.
The State’s total number of cases stands at 549, with 55 active cases. Of these, 23 are from the Artania cruise ship, two are from interstate and 30 cases are WA locals.
There are 16 confirmed COVID-19 patients in Perth metropolitan hospitals – four of whom are in ICU.
To date 34,842 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in Western Australia. Of those, 6,209 people have returned negative tests in regional WA.
Yesterday, 315 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 291 people were assessed and 279 were swabbed.
