Having a baby at Armadale Health Service

Armadale Health Service provides ongoing care and support for low to medium risk obstetric patients throughout their pregnancy.

You and your partner will receive an excellent standard of care from our team of midwives, GP obstetricians (GPO) and specialist obstetricians.

Specialist obstetric cover is available 24-hours a day if your pregnancy is considered increased risk.

The hospital delivers more than 2000 babies each year through the Maud Bellas maternity unit.

Armadale Health Service provides maternity care to women living within the following postcodes:

  • 6107 – 6112
  • 6121 – 6126
  • 6147

The Maud Bellas maternity unit has:

  • 5 birth suites
  • 23 postnatal care beds
  • 6 bed Antenatal Assessment Unit.
