Licensed private day hospitals – class A (general anaesthesia)

Definition of a day hospital – class A

Class A day hospital refers to a day hospital facility where “the following professional medical services are determined to be professional attention for the purposes of the definition of “day hospital facility” in section 8 of the Health Services Act 2016”

  • Any procedure that involves the administration of a general, spinal or epidural anaesthetic
