Engagement and Consultation

The Sustainable Health Review (SHR) Panel is extremely grateful for all the contributions and wanted to ensure all Western Australians, including our patients, community, workforce and partners, had the opportunity to contribute to the SHR and help shape the future of our health system.

Over the course of the SHR the Panel engaged with hundreds of individuals and organisations who have passionately and articulately shared their experiences and views.

Summaries from a range of Engagement Events, as well as Panel and Reference Group Communiques, Media Statements, Videos, Interim Report Feedback, and Public Submissions are available below.

Interim Report Feedback
Between February and May 2018, the Sustainable Health Review Panel invited organisations and members of the community to provide feedback on the Interim Report and input into other areas the Panel may have missed in the first phase of consultation.

The Panel are extremely grateful for the responses and contributions received. The results of the feedback survey were reported to the SHR Panel, and were used to test their preliminary directions and develop the Final Report and Recommendations.

Department of Health employees were invited to provide feedback through a separate survey.

The summarised responses from the Interim Report Feedback Survey questions 9-12 is below.

Summary of Public Feedback (PDF 65KB): The Online Feedback Survey was open for approximately 12 weeks following the release of the Interim Report and was designed to gather feedback and comments from organisations and individuals.
