The Chief Nursing and Midwifery Office is excited to announce that ticket sales and registration are now open for the Western Australian Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards (WANMEA) (external site) Gala Ball.

This special event is an opportunity to celebrate the finalists and recognise the winners from the 2020 WANMEA campaign. The year 2020 was supposed to be a year of celebration, acknowledging the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife, shinning a light on these amazing professions. Instead, due to the COVID emergency, nurses and midwives bolstered the front line, postponed celebrations and put the health of the community first. It is now time to recognise them.
