Contributions invited for WA LGBTI Health Strategy
Community consultation is being sought for the development of the WA Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (LGBTI) Health Strategy, which will provide a framework to raise awareness of the specific health and mental health challenges of LGBTI people.
Community consultation is being sought for the development of the WA Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex (LGBTI) Health Strategy, which will provide a framework to raise awareness of the specific health and mental health challenges of LGBTI people.
WA LGBTI community representatives are invited to join the Health Strategy Reference Group and/or to apply for funding to conduct their own consultations.
Community representatives – Health Strategy Reference Group
Representatives are being sought from WA LGBTI communities to contribute to the development and writing of the Strategy, collaborating with identified key stakeholders across the WA health sector.
All interested parties are encouraged to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI), including those that provide health/mental health services to WA LGBTI communities, or deliver LGBTI inclusive training to other sectors.
To apply, complete the attached Reference Group EOI form and return to Health Networks via email.

Community organisations – community consultation funding
The Department is inviting organisations to conduct consultations across WA LGBTI communities by 31 May 2018.
Interested parties are encouraged to submit an EOI outlining their:
target group/s
timeframes
expected number of participants
range of LGBTI communities to be reached
locations
expected budget.
