Research Development Unit
The Research Development Unit provides policy and funding support for health and medical research, for both WA Health and the wider WA health and medical research sector.
Amongst other one-off and recurring funding programs, the State Government has supported the development of health and medical research in WA through the FutureHealth WA program. FutureHealth WA was announced in 2013, allocating an additional $30 million for health and medical research over four years, from 2013-14 to 2016-17.
