In 2015, we are pleased to announce that the WA Clinical Training Network (WACTN) will sponsor the Excellence in Clinical Supervision category at this year's WA Health Excellence Awards. This award recognises the outstanding achievements of supervisors and the teams that support them.
The WACTN consists of government, private and not for profit health services and education and training providers across WA. It aims to ensure that these providers are optimally positioned to offer quality clinical placements to health students, contributing to the development of a skilled and competent health workforce that will meet the needs of the Western Australian community into the future.
The Clinical Supervision Award for Excellence in Clinical Training was awarded to Juniper Simulation Centre, Juniper.
Mary Passmore was also honoured for Lifetime Achievement in Clinical Supervision.
