Phase 4: Review

Reviewing the results, developing recommendations and disseminating findings are crucial in shaping the future of the program and contributing toward a strong evidence base.  Formative and process evaluation provide important guidance for program implementation, while impact and outcome evaluation provide evidence of the effectiveness of the program.

The purpose of Phase 4 (Review) is to examine the findings in accordance with the research and evaluation plan and to discuss the implications of these for future program development and sustainable delivery to the relevant target group using the final step of the Framework.

A program report template is completed that summarises the results and outcomes of the program. It also provides recommendations on ways to strengthen program development and implementation in future, and on how the results of the evaluation will be disseminated.

Phase 4 involves the following step:
1.Review, recommend and disseminate.

Phase 4 requires completion of the Report template, using Task Checklist Step 8.
